But now, who knows!

Like I said in my review, though, while I was disappointed by Spamalot, everyone else around me was laughing hysterically. I just feel that by this point, I've seen so many better shows, both on Broadway and on tour.

I liked Jeffrey Dumas. I thought he was one of the best things about Spamalot. I'm glad he's such a nice person.Estherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16076517542540421210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1912669500934497251.post-67264985692182380892008-02-04T22:47:00.000-05:002008-02-04T22:47:00.000-05:00Esther, Many, many observations here. In my humble opinion, it is highly overrated.

Second, I believe that the three shows it beat out for the Best Musical Tony - The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Light In The Piazza and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels were all far superior.

Third, I completely forgot until reading your review that I met Jeffrey Dumas when I was still living in Chicago. I had attended a benefit for Katrina victims that the Windy City sitdown cast of Wicked performed. When I met Dumas, he was in the ensemble, but was amiable and offered to provide a backstage tour of the Chicago production a couple nights later when I saw the show for my sixth or seventh time. Really decent guy.Steve On Broadway (SOB)https://www.blogger.com/profile/04353077627991682499noreply@blogger.com
