Way to go Vermont!

Just over an hour ago Vermont became the fourth state to legalize same-sex marriage. Both the House and Senate overrode a veto by Gov. Jim Douglas of a bill allowing gay and lesbian couples to marry.

Seeing the tide of history turn right before your eyes is an amazing thing. You can watch the House vote here.

Congratulations to everyone in the Green Mountain State. Okay, maybe it's finally time for me to visit.

Hey, Amanda. As soon as I read about it, I had to blog something! I love history in the making.

Thanks for the comment, CP. I live so close to Vermont, it's embarrassing that I've never been there. I'd like to tour the Ben & Jerry's factory. That's number one on my list!
